FREE CHORAL CONCERT

Join PopUp Choir and critically-acclaimed composer and conductor Paul Mealor for a beautiful concert of choral treasures from the British and American choral traditions.
Hear works from beloved composers – including Tallis, Britten, Lauridsen, Whitacre, Mealor, Paulus, and more as they honour our choral heritage with a musical journey that feels like home.
Founded in 2015, PopUp Choir is a Minneapolis-based, semi-professional choral ensemble made up of singers who have performed with from numerous top choirs, including Magnum Chorum, The Singers: Minnesota Choral Artists, Minnesota Chorale, Exultate, and more.
Admission is free (there will be a retiring collection in aid of cathedral funds).
The concert will last approximately one hour.
Refreshments will be available after the concert, giving the audience the chance to meet and chat with the members of the choir.

ALASTAIR SAVAGE & ALICE ALLEN – FIDDLE & CELLO DUO
(A welcome return to Dundee for Alastair with a new duo formation with cellist Alice Allen… they will play a beautiful programme of folk music, including music by Niel Gow & James Scott Skinner, as well as some of Alastair’s own compositions.)
