Rector & Provost

The Very Revd Dr Elizabeth Thomson is the Rector & Provost of St Paul’s Cathedral. Elizabeth was installed in June 2021. She came to Dundee from Derby Cathedral, where she was Sub-Dean and Canon Missioner; earlier, she served in parishes in Oxfordshire and Somerset. Music & Liturgy

Stuart Muir – Pastoral Musician
Stuart studied music at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and prior to being appointed Pastoral Musician at St Paul’s in 2000, was Assistant Organist at St Mary’s Cathedral in Glasgow. As well as being Pastoral Musician at the cathedral, Stuart is Director and Chapel and Ceremonial Music at the University of Aberdeen and Dundee City Organist (Caird Hall). Priest for Outreach

The Revd Roxanne Campbell is the Priest for Outreach at St Paul’s Cathedral. Roxanne was installed in June 2022 having completed her curacy at St. Mary Magdalene’s, Dundee and St. Ninian’s Church Dundee. Roxanne trained for ministry at the Scottish Episcopal Institute and gained her degree in Theological Studies from the University of St. Andrews. Prior to ordination she worked as a manager in the public sector. Roxanne is also Priest in Charge of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, Dundee. You can contact her at roxanne@saintpaulscathedral.net. St Paul’s is the Cathedral Church of the Diocese of Brechin in the Scottish Episcopal Church.

The Diocese of Brechin includes the City of Dundee, Angus, the Mearns and the Carse of Gowrie. Founded in 1153, Brechin is one of seven geographical dioceses covering Scotland and part of the Anglican Communion worldwide. It has companion links with the Diocese of Iowa in the United States and the Diocese of Swaziland in southern Africa. The Bishop of Brechin is the Right Revd Andrew Swift.

The Scottish Episcopal Church is an open, discussing and engaging church in Scotland and is a member of the world-wide Anglican Communion. It is a diverse church which is widely respected for the quality of its ministry and worship and for the thoughtful dialogue which is characteristic of its life.
