Cornerstone

Who are we?

Cornerstone is the Cathedral’s young adults group (ages 18-25+).

Some of us are members of the Cathedral Choir, some volunteer during Cathedral services, and some of us attend as members of the congregation. We welcome young adults from nearby churches to join our events. You are welcome whether you attend every week, or only every once in a while.

We meet on the first Monday of each month at 6.30pm. Previous events have involved picnics, board games, bible study, and film nights!

Find us

To keep up with upcoming events, you can follow us on Instagram @cornerstonestpauls or email to admin@saintpaulscathedral.net for more information.

You can always find us after a service on Sunday too – just ask to be pointed in the right direction.

Stay in touch

We can add you to the Young Adults WhatsApp Group, where more frequent updates are posted. The simplest way to do this is to speak to us in person after a service on Sunday morning.

The WhatsApp Group is also a good place to organise with one another outside of our monthly events – maybe you’d like to grab a coffee with someone after a service or want a familiar face at an interesting lecture.

Funding

Cornerstone is a self-run group led by young adults in the Cathedral. We always aim to hold events that are free of charge, with an occasional exception once or twice a year (such as bowling, or an escape room).

Our members contribute to all aspects of the group, whether it be cooking for a potluck evening, or bringing along snacks to share for a movie night.

Donations toward the running of the group are always welcome! These can be given the same way as any other donation to the Cathedral – just quote “Cornerstone” in your reference.
