St Paul’s Cathedral – The Choir

Music is integral to our Eucharistic Liturgy on a Sunday morning, at which the choir sings every week (this uses the 1982 Scottish Liturgy). Likewise, music is integral to our more meditative service of Evening Prayer on a Sunday evening; on the second Sunday of the month, the choir sing Choral Evensong (which uses the 1929 Scottish Prayer Book). The choir sings at various Feast Day services which occur on weekdays and the Cathedral Carol Service has become one of the annual highlights of the year. The choir also sings at various diocesan and civic functions, both within and outside the Cathedral.
